Short Description:

As a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) responsibilities include being in charge of all company technology and technological resources. The CTO will focus on maintaining and improving all technological issues in the company. The CTO will oversee staff that handle the company’s day to day technology requirements and will take part in all decisions effecting technology. Requires a Degree in information technology and 10+ years of relevant experience.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the organization's technology strategy in alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead and manage the technology team, including software developers, engineers, and IT professionals.
  • Drive innovation and research to stay ahead of technological trends and advancements.
  • Collaborate with other executives to identify opportunities for technology-driven solutions.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of the organization's technology infrastructure.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of software and hardware solutions.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and platforms to enhance business operations.
  • Manage the technology budget, resources, and vendor relationships.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the technology team.
  • Serve as a technology evangelist both internally and externally, promoting the organization's technological capabilities.

  • Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in technology leadership roles (10+ years), with a track record of successful technology implementations.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strategic thinking and the ability to align technology initiatives with business objectives.
  • Leardership: Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
