A Junior Recruiter is an entry-level professional in the field of human resources responsible for supporting the recruitment process within an organization. Junior Recruiters work closely with senior recruiters and hiring managers to ensure a smooth and efficient hiring process.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Source potential candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and networking events.
  • Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
  • Conduct initial phone interviews to assess candidates' suitability for specific roles.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and candidates.
  • Assist in the development of job descriptions and job specifications.
  • Maintain candidate databases and applicant tracking systems.
  • Provide administrative support in the recruitment process, such as organizing recruitment events and preparing interview materials.
  • Communicate with candidates and provide timely updates on their application status.
  • Collaborate with team members to continuously improve recruitment processes.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in recruitment.

Skills / Requirements / Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
  • Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills for candidate interaction.
  • Attention to Detail: Attention to detail in resume screening and candidate evaluation.
  • HR Processes: Basic understanding of human resources principles and recruitment processes.
  • Organization: Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Microsoft Office: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with applicant tracking systems.
  • Adaptive: Eagerness to learn and adapt to changing recruitment trends.
  • Confidentiality: Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling candidate information.
  • Teamwork: Teamwork and collaboration skills for working with other members of the HR team.
  • Experience: Previous internship or coursework in human resources or recruitment is a plus.
